Victoria County Central Appraisal District Tax Parcels

The Victoria County Central Appraisal District (Victoria CAD) attempts to: 1) identify all real and personal property, and 2) then value each parcel. Their primary mission is to divide the property taxes paid to entities in the county as accurately and equitably as possible. Victoria County Central Appraisal District had 59,962 tax parcels in 2021 and 10 appraisers to value them and conduct tax protest hearings. That works out to 5,996 tax parcels per appraiser.

Victoria County Central Appraisal District has a lean level of staffing. We estimate about 25% of appraisal district appraisers work on valuation while the balance work on measuring new property and other inspections. We further assume the appraisers have 3 months or 66 days to complete valuations. Victoria County - Total Market Value for All Property

The Victoria County Central Appraisal District is required to provide a value for all real property and business personal property in Victoria County annually.
